Time your trip for Low Tide for the Best Beach experience.
#1 Tide Guide
If you don’t time your visit to the beach you might be surprised to find high water and raging surf.
The ocean can rise as much as 10’ or even more during swells in our area of Costa Rica. This means that reefs and tidal pools that are perfect for families to explore at Low Tide may disappear completely at High Tide.
Many of our neighbors would rave about a nearby beaches. But when our family would make a visit we would find raging surf and a narrow strip of sand to play on.
Then we found this app: Tide Guide. It tells us when low tide and high tide will be, and it also lets us predict how much higher the water will be when he finally get to the beach. Because with kids we can never get out of the house when we plan.
It gives us just the data we need to plan a successful trip to the beach. Many of the other apps online are geared for hardcore surfers and have tons of data about wind direction and swells that clutter the main screen. This app just gives me what I need with a clean and easy to read interface.
