Navigating to Las Palmitas - The Easy Way

We are located just North of Beach Paradise Cabinas (to the LEFT of their gate).

In GOOGLE MAPS or Apple MAPS you can enter Beach Paradise Cabinas (Guanacaste Province, Santa Cruz, Costa Rica) and it will direct you to our location.

Directions from Liberia Airport - For the Back Seat Driver…

Exit Liberia airport and turn right (Southwest) onto Ruta Nacional Primaria 21 and follow this main 2 lane road for 45km. You will pass the Latin University of Costa Rica on your right and a few kilometers further just before crossing the Bridge to Santa Cruz you will turn right. ( If you end up in Santa Cruz, you’ve missed the turn. )

Turn right onto Route 160 and continue for 15.9km.

Turn left at El Fogon De Dona Luisa to stay on Route 160 for just 500m (if you miss the turn it will take you to Tamarindo instead)

Turn right to stay on Route 160 (if you miss this turn you end up in the town of Veintesiete de Abril)

Continue straight through the town of Rio Seco it has a soccer field on the right and a cute church on the left. The main road continues straight past Pizzeria Anna and becomes Route 928 toward Paraiso.

Drive through Paraiso there are two markets on the left and a soccer field on the right.

Turn Right after the soccer field and continue over a little bridge and up the hill for 1.5km

Turn left at Bar y Restaurante Latina on the left and you will pass by Villas Nyupa on the left.

This dirt road is Carrt. Calle-Jones and continue straight for 1.6km. Half way down the road is divided in the middle by a group of trees, there is a red arrow directing you to stay on the right side of the road.

Sharp Right turn onto Carrt. Playa Blanca (MAPs calls this Calle Pochotes). It’s about 250meters down this road on the left. You will pass a small EcoLodge with small metal cabins on the left, then an abandoned garden of huge palm trees, then Las Palmitas. Beach Paradise Cabinas are the orange walled property to our right and further South down the road.
